Vintage 1995
Fine claret red with rose tints, limit and brilliant. Firm nose of crystallised fruits (morello cherry) that after swirling the wine develops into traces of cherry liqueur and a mixture of soft spices and pepper. A round full-bodied wine steadied by alcohol. Quite a dense tannic structure with balanced tannins, a warm finish that is a little acidulous making the tannins slightly astringent in the after taste. Elegant aromatic presence with a long finish. It is an attractive wine, still young, very fruity and developed. It can be drunk now or kept for a few more years. Recommended serving temperature: 18°C This wine marries well with dishes such as:

as reblochon, brie, vacherin Mont d’or
